Since 2021, the Englewood Music Fest has brought world-famous artists and breaking national acts together with local up-and-comers.Coming off another successful and well-attended event for thousands of people in and around the City of Chicago the Englewood Music Fest has become known as a must-attend end of summer event for friends & family, food & drinks, a warm positive vibe, and of course, world-class R&B, Soul and Hip-Hop music.

In 2024, The Triibe reported that iconic Black festivals like the Silver Room Block Party & Hyde Park Summer Fest have disappeared. EMF is now one of the last remaining large-scale, free culturally-affirming Black celebrations in Chicago.
